Local Business Spotlight: Beacon Wealth Management - Opening a new rural community hub

With a 20-year history in the town of Kimbolton, Beacon Wealth Management is keen to expand and enhance their services to their clients in the local rural communities, especially to the business owners and individuals who live there.

In order to deliver these extra services, Beacon is keen to create a hub for the community by delivering a dedicated conference facility. This will enable Beacon to hold in-house workshops, seminars and events where they can share the latest information that impacts the rural community. It also creates a space where the community can meet to share knowledge and ideas, and to build connections with each other and other Kimbolton businesses.

Beacon is pursuing a sustainable approach to this project in line with their business strategy, under which more than 50% of Funds under Management are invested in ethical portfolios. The team strives to balance embedding new technologies into the business, whilst minimising their impact on the environment.

This project gives Beacon new opportunities to reach clients and it will directly support rural residents and businesses to grow and protect themselves. For example, from changes to market conditions, regulations, and other disruptions to the established rural way of life.

For Beacon, it will mean that they can expand their reach and enjoy their own growth, which in turn will lead to employing additional people from the local area. Bringing people physically into Kimbolton also brings opportunities to promote the wider business community in Kimbolton and across Huntingdonshire.
