For generations, Holmewood Estate has been a thriving 1,900-acre arable farm near Stilton, committed to regenerative farming and environmental stewardship. But in today’s agricultural landscape, diversification is key to sustainability. That’s why the estate has expanded into self-storage, hospitality, and events - ensuring long-term financial stability while meeting local demand.

 

Thanks to a £47,000 Rural Prosperity Fund grant, supported by Invest in Huntingdonshire, Holmewood Estate has been able to:

 

✅ Expand its self-storage facility, adding 42 new units to meet high demand 📦
✅ Create a new part-time job to manage the growing facility 👩‍💼
✅ Support local businesses & residents with secure, accessible storage 🏢
