New Free Digital Badge for Customer Service Excellence Now Available with Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority
The CPCA are thrilled to announce that the new Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority - Customer Service Excellence Digital Badge is now available and its completely free for you to Issue it to all employees, volunteers, and learners within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who meet the following criteria:
- Earner has demonstrated effective communication with customers to understand their needs, answering questions or concerns, and providing them with excellent support and service.
- Earner has demonstrated knowledge and problem-solving by interpreting a variety of products or services to troubleshoot issues and find solutions to customer queries. Earner has provided customers with clear language and instructions, or, where appropriate, has rectified the issue on behalf of the customer.
- Earner has provided an excellent customer experience by responding quickly and maintaining the friendly and positive demeanor that customers expect from the organisation.
- Earner has taken part in a professional experience or specific type of experience which includes customer service as part of an employability study programme.
Digital Badges are being used by organisations all over the world and are fast becoming the easiest way of recognising and certifying skills and attributes. It’s simple to Issue the badge, (when satisfied that they have met the criteria) just ask individuals to scan the QR code to open a short online form to claim their digital badge where they input the claim code (shown below).

Digital Badges can be displayed on social media, LinkedIn, email signatures, or used on digital CV’s and digital badging wallets. They can be used to support individuals to develop and display their skills to help them reach their aspirations and for employers to connect and find the skills they need in recruitment.
