Increasing Focus on Environment Behind Firm’s Sales Success

KeCo Ltd, who specialise in innovative food service packaging, recently celebrated their fourth birthday by announcing news of increased sales growth by 30% and they say that the key to their success was having an increased focus on the environment.


John Young, the Sales and Marketing Director of KeCo said “When KeCo was founded, the Company’s primary focus was to service the fish and chip sector with specifically produced packaging products to meet the changing demands in material requirements.  This was as the move from EPS boxes (expanded polystyrene) to a more environmentally friendly alternative started to take off.  As a result of servicing the core suppliers to this market, it was quickly realised there was a need for local production of other packaging items – like folded carton boxes. It was then KeCo and its Directors invested in the site location here at Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire; with the aim of producing what is now an established range of premium quality disposable packaging solutions.”

KeCo manufacturers a range of carton board products for brands including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur football clubs, Vue Cinemas, Millie’s Cookies and IKEA.

2019 has been a great year for KeCo after the firm also were awarded the British Retail Consortium ‘AA’ high hygiene accreditation of its UK manufacturing facility for the third year in a row.
