Following the launch of the new Growth Prospectus for the former GCGP LEP area, there is a new small grant scheme that replaces the former ERDF grant scheme that has now expired in the area, plus a loan scheme for larger projects. The Loan scheme will, in exceptional cases, consider grants and investments if appropriate.

iMET Opens

iMET has come a long way since they began builidng works at Alcobury Weald back in August 2016. They opened their doors for the first time on 15th June 2018 with Mayor James Palmer doing the official opening of the building.


Councillor Richard West, Chairman of Huntingdonshire District Council, and Councillor Ryan Fuller, Deputy Executive Leader, hosted a visit on 2nd July 2018 from a delegation of officials from the Luqiao District of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province.
