Rebecca Tomlin
Economic Development Manager Rebecca brings extensive experience in economic development and government administration to the Invest in Huntingdonshire team. Since 2013, she has been a passionate advocate for local growth, specialising in business support, event management, the night-time economy, and community engagement. With a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from the University of Lincoln, Rebecca has built a successful career managing sectors such as tourism, culture, skills, and inward investment. Her work has consistently focused on empowering businesses and ensuring economic opportunities are accessible to all. Rebecca’s approachable nature and expertise make her a trusted partner for businesses, helping them navigate challenges and achieve growth. She is deeply committed to fostering prosperity across Huntingdonshire and beyond.
Nikki Burton
Economic Development Officer Nikki brings a wealth of experience and connections across the Huntingdonshire and Cambrdgeshires area. Over the past three years, she has been instrumental in supporting businesses with growth strategies and people development. With over a decade of expertise in the apprenticeship and training sector, Nikki has a deep understanding of the skills landscape. She has collaborated with a diverse range of businesses, including those in healthcare, manufacturing and engineering, digital and agri-tech, and business services. Nikki is also well-versed in business grants and inward investment, helping local enterprises secure funding and attract new investments to the region. Outside of work, Nikki enjoys weekend adventures across the UK and travelling overseas.
Amy Kelley
Economic Business Development Officer Amy brings a diverse skill set to the team, with significant expertise in property development, planning, and data analysis. As a seasoned project manager, she is deeply dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth within the region, promoting community and business engagement while building strong partnerships among local enterprises. Amy is committed to empowering individuals and local businesses to reach their full potential and to assist in facilitating the opportunities for local businesses to thrive. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that address local business challenges and creating a more inclusive, collaborative and resilient economic future for Huntingdonshire SME’s.
Phoebe Redman
Business Support Administrator Phoebe brings customer service, organisation and social media experience to the Economic Development team. Phoebe is responsible for ensuring businesses of Huntingdonshire are up to date with funding opportunities, local events and business support. With years of customer service and admin experience, our team is organised by Phoebe and all queries are dealt with and forwarded to the appropriate team members by her.
