Invest in Huntingdonshire is the Economic Development Team for Huntingdonshire District Council. Our role is to support inward investment in our beautiful region and help companies looking to grow their businesses here to thrive. We aim to provide the truly integrated, high quality insight and guidance service that our business community need to enable them to prosper here.

Meet our Team

Nykki Rogers

Economic Development Manager Nykki leads the economic development service for the Council and brings 30 years of public and private sector experience. Previously, she led the Department for International Trade’s inward investment activity for Life Sciences and Healthcare for 10 years where she supported hundreds of businesses to invest in the UK. Nykki has worked in start-ups, venture capital and multi-nationals in sectors such as automotive, technology, digital and biotech. In her spare time, Nykki will be in the garden, creating new spaces to enjoy and taking her children fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast.

Paul Gibbons

Economic Development Officer Paul has worked as part of the ED team since 2019, having previously worked at the Cambridgeshire Chambers Of Commerce. His extensive local business network, knowledge and expertise has helped connect Huntingdonshire businesses with invaluable support throughout and beyond the COVID pandemic. Paul continues to support the needs of the team as we look forward and help to nurture our local economy on several fronts. Away from HDC (Huntingdonshire District Council), Paul is an experienced grassroots football coach with over six seasons of tying shoelaces under his belt! His team have completed their very first season in the top division of the Hunts league. Paul is also Vice-Chair of Needingworth Colts FC.

James Clayton

James is an accomplished Analyst, with over a decade of experience in deploying data for intelligent decision-making, alongside producing published research. Having recently completed a Masters in Finance with econometrics, James has a passion for macroeconomic modelling and utilising R. James most enjoys supporting Huntingdonshire's businesses to thrive, with a keen interest in manufacturing. In his spare time, you will likely find James atop of a Peak District crag.

Phoebe Redman

Business Support Administrator Phoebe maintains the Invest in Huntingdonshire social platforms to ensure recent news and upcoming events are visible to our stakeholders. Alongside her digital tasks, Phoebe often supports the team with their ad hoc administrative duties and booking of meetings with the team's diary management. When she is out of the office, Phoebe spends time with her family and spontaneous trips away.
