A New Chapter for Business Networking in Huntingdonshire
On Wednesday evening (5th March), professionals from across the district gathered for the latest Intermediary Network event, where the network was officially rebranded as the Huntingdonshire Business Network. The event, held at Citizen Hub in St Neots, provided a valuable opportunity for business leaders to connect, share insights, and hear the latest updates on local economic development.
The event featured expert speakers who shared key information on business support, workforce development, and industry trends. Alison Riley and Alex McDonald from the Residents Advice Team & WorkWell Programme at Huntingdonshire District Council provided an overview of initiatives aimed at supporting local businesses and employees. Maxine Palmer, Business Advisor for the Construction and Manufacturing Sectors at the CPCA Growth Hub, shared valuable insights into opportunities available for businesses across the region.
As part of the network’s evolution, events will now be hosted in different locations across Huntingdonshire to ensure greater accessibility for businesses throughout the district. This approach aims to encourage wider participation and foster stronger connections between professionals in various sectors.
The evening also provided attendees with the chance to speak directly with Economic Development Officers, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
