Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week is paramount in fostering a compassionate and supportive society. By understanding and acknowledging the complexities of mental well-being, we can break down stigma, promote early intervention and cultivate environments where individuals feel safe seeking help. Prioritising mental health awareness not only improves individual lives but also enhances overall community resilience and cohesion. Ultimately, embracing mental health awarness is key to building a healthier, more inclusive world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We previously hosted a series of seminars on mental health, wellbeing and resilience which are free and available to view online. These sessions were hosted by award winning mental health speaker & transformational speaking coach Nick Elston where he discussed different subjects from financial wellbeing to better conversations around mental health. You can find each seminar below.

If you are in need of immediate mental health support, call NHS 111, Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258. If you or someone else is in danger, please call 999.

Financial Wellbeing

In this hugely relevant topic, Nick - alongside a special guest - explore how our finances impact our lives, personally & professionally, especially through the ‘cost of living crisis’ - sharing tools, tips & hacks that we can use to help us survive & thrive whilst increasing our self-awareness of our relationship with money, value & those around us.

This seminar took place on 11th April 2023 and you can watch it back here.

Resilience 101

With a big focus on resilience - this session will empower you by giving you the ingredients to create your own recipe for success - by your own definition of that really subjective word!

This seminar took place on 15th May 2023 and you can watch it back here.

Grief & Loss

Coming away from the pandemic & lockdown years, there has been a sharp rise of experiences of grief and loss, not necessarily attributed to a loss of human life - but the loss of a way of life. We will dissect the subject of grief and give you empowering tools to help you & people in that position thrive through one of the most challenging times that we can ever experience.

This seminar took place on 19th June 2023 and you can watch it back here.

Self-Care & Wellbeing

When we struggle with mental health, with low self esteem or lack confidence - the first thing we give away is ‘choice’ - when it’s actually the only thing we have! This empowering session will give you personal and professional development tools to help you reclaim your ‘choice’ in life and in business!  In the UK especially, we are conditioned to believe that self-care is selfish - but it’s crucial!  It’s time for you to be more selfish!

This seminar took place on 17th July 2023 and you can watch it back here.

Better Conversations around Mental Health

Learn how to identify the difference between Mental Health & Mental Illness and begin to remove the stigma from the term ‘Mental Health’ in your organisation. How this can be the key to unlocking wellbeing in your workplace and increasing engagement.  Using Nick’s very own ‘playbook’ - you will learn how to have better conversations around Mental Health whilst relieving your own stress so you sleep well & have more conversations with more people!

This seminar took place on 14th August 2023 and you can watch it back here.
